American Association for Laboratory Accreditation

Established in 1978 as a non profit, public service, membership society, A2LA is dedicated to the formal recognition of competent testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers. Companies with a commitment to high quality and technical competence have pursued and received accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) which meets the ISO. There are businesses that implement, train and provide pre assessment consulting for ISO9000, QS9000, AS9100 and A2LA.
