Kidney Cancer

Kidneys can sometimes develop cancer. Renal carcinoma is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults and begins in the cells that line the small tubes within the kidneys. Children are more likely to develop a kind of kidney cancer called Wilms' tumor. Kidney cancer tends not to cause problems in its early stages.
