Cancer treatments vary depending upon the type of cancer, stage of cancer, and overall condition of the patient. Also, the objective of tactics treatment will depeend on whether the aim is to cure the cancer, keep the cancer from spreading, or to relieve the symptoms caused by cancer. It is not uncommon for a cancer patient to receive one or more of the following cancer treatments: surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, or targeted therapy.
