Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that has developed in the cells of the breast. A malignant tumor is a group of cancer cells that may invade surrounding tissues or spread to other areas of the body. The earlier breast cancer is found and diagnosed, the better the chances of overcoming breast cancer. Breast self-exams should be part of a woman's monthly health care routine.
