Forklifts

Forklifts operate with electric, propane, diesel, or gasoline engines and come with either cushion or pneumatic tires. Electric units fitted with cushion tires are mainly indoor trucks and run on smooth surfaces. Since electric forklifts do not release emissions, they also work well where ventilation is poor. Internal combustion forklifts (propane, gasoline, and diesel) will generate more power than electric trucks, and move quicker over long distances. Propane forklifts can be used indoors as long as some ventilation exists. If equipped with pneumatic tires, internal combustion forklifts will have greater ground clearance, and be able to travel on a variety of surfaces. Forklift capacities range from 3,000lbs to 80,000lbs. Comparison shop for forklifts and forklift supplies.
